Another UNESCO World Heritage site that’s worth a visit. Mamure Castle is a medieval castle that was built by the rulers of the Armenian Kingdom of Cilicia. Since then, it has been destroyed and repaired numerous times during the Byzantine period and the Crusades.
It’s a spectacular fortress that stretches 23,500 square metres (253,000 sq ft).
