Day 1: Arrival in Istanbul – Transfer to Hotel
Welcome to Turkey. Arrive at Istanbul Airport ( IST ) or at Istanbul Sabiha Gokcen Airport ( SAW ), Our representative will meet you at the airport with your name signed and a private transfer to the hotel for an overnight stay in Istanbul.
DAY 2: Full-Day Istanbul Tour ( Breakfast )
09.00 a.m. After breakfast, we pick up from the hotel, and our journey begins in Istanbul, the only city in the world situated on two continents. Byzantium, Constantinople, Istanbul – its three names span more than 2600 years, nearly 1600 of them as the capital of two of the greatest empires the world has known, Byzantine and Ottoman. We visit the Topkapi Palace, Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque, and Hippodrome, where chariot races and the Byzantine riots took place. Visit the Grand Bazaar for shopping. Overnight in Istanbul.
Note: The Grand Bazaar is closed on Sundays. When Day 2 is Sunday, the Grand Bazaar will be visited on Day 3.
DAY 3: Full-Day Istanbul Tour ( Breakfast )
08.30 a.m. After breakfast, pick up from the hotel. First visit Spice Bazaar (Egyptian Bazaar): The air here is filled with the enticing aromas of cinnamon, caraway, saffron, mint, thyme, and every other conceivable herb and spice. Then a Boat trip on the Bosphorus: A traditional excursion by boat along the waterway separating Europe and Asia. The shore is lined with old wooden villas, palaces of marble, fortresses, and small fishing villages. Afternoon visits to the Underground cistern. Overnight in Istanbul.
Day 4: Turkish Bath (Breakfast)
After having breakfast at the hotel, you will be transferred to a historical Turkish Bath.
Hamam: It's the Middle Eastern variant of a steam bath, which can be categorized as a wet relative of the sauna. A person taking a Turkish bath first relaxes in a room (known as the warm room) that is heated by a continuous flow of hot, dry air, allowing the bather to perspire freely. Bathers may then move to an even hotter room (known as the hot room) before splashing themselves with cold water. After performing a full body wash and receiving a massage, bathers finally retire to the cooling room for a period of relaxation.
Day 5: Full Day City Tour / Prince’s Island Tour (Breakfast - Lunch)
After having breakfast at the hotel, you will have a full-day city tour. Cruise in the Marmara Sea to Princes' Islands, and stop at Büyükada, the popular summer resort with sandy beaches and pine forest scenery, once the pleasure island of Byzantine Princes. Lunch and tour of the island with horse-drawn carriages. After the tour, you will be transferred to your Hotel. Overnight in Istanbul.
Day 6: Home ( Breakfast )
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and private transfer to Istanbul Airport or to Istanbul Sabiha Gokcen airport for your flight back home.
